Please send my sympathies to your friend. We just lost our beloved GSD female Dice after 10 years. An Alk daughter, she she did a little french ring and produced several nice working dogs, but mostly she was the family dog. Sleeping in our bedroom and watching over the kids. The hardest part is coming home and not having her meet us at the door. Anyway, hug'em while you got'em.
