Hi there! Really, it's not the dog that I worry about.. a good dog will "see" the people as they are, as long as the dog is sound. Years ago, I had a group of mentally challenged adults come to my kennel for a visit. We lost track of one of the people, and found him in with my competition dog, "Sebastian". This was a very serious PP dog, with very high levels of defense, as well as prey. Not many people would even think about entering his kennel, but there was no problem here, because the dog could see the true intent of the person. The biggest problem I have is training the PEOPLE to "see" what the dog sees, so that they can react appropriately!!!
