thanks Michelle! I was able to view the video this time, (ten minutes, 29 seconds to download..) This is basically a video to show how manly Alex is, and how "tough" the young dog is.. very stupid, in my opinion. The stick/arm strike was overdone, coming overhand as it was. Alex responded poorly, with "fighting" the dog in exactly the same way as we do, to firm the dog ON the bite..a lot of folks, when bitten by a dog, do exactly what he did, try to pry the dog off, etc. The best thing is to grab the dog with your free hand, and bring it CLOSER to you, not trying to pull it off. You actually create more damage by doing what Alex did...
