I agree, mostly, with what you've posted, other than I believe that temperament is the hardest thing to "fix", and the easiest thing to screw up.
The other thing that will be a sticking point for many folks, is just what is "quality"? A high level sport dog? A conformation Grand Champion? A stable family pet? A dog that can do all three? Quality and beauty are both just found in the eye, heart and kennel of the beholder....
