Hi Cheryl,
Funny you should mention this topic. We just did a seminar at work about the generational differences. We talked about the difference in a work place setting, but I think it applies to life in general.
I border on baby boomer/Gen X and there is a huge difference in the way they learn and what they rely on as gospel/meaningful. The Gen Y or Mellianals are even worse in that category they are very internet savvy and technical.
I'm not sure exactly what conversation you are thinking about for the weekend, but I think generationally there is a group of people that are very visual and seeing is believing. At least that's what I learned in the seminar.
I would be happy to share the PowerPoint presentation I put together on the topic. I found it very interesting after doing the research and pulling out the differences I think I got some insight into myself and others.
