Hi all! I want to start a conversation to learn something... not to start a fight, or a battle between generations.
We had the pleasure of two visitors from Ann Arbor come out to our club this past Saturday. Nice folks, good dogs, learning about the SDA program.
Well, the training switched to French Ring, as we have a couple of dogs getting ready for a Ring Trial in June. As most of you know, I have been very successful in training for Ring, titling three dogs from puppy to Ring III myself, while training multiple Ring certified decoys, hosting multiple championships, being President of NARA for several years, blah blah blah...
The conversation immediately turned to YouTube, what could be watched, how the dogs were being trained, etc. etc.
Does having a video on YouTube automatically "rank higher" than actual experience to some? I was surprised to see what focus our younger members put on the video world. Is that the "new Bible"?
I don't want to get into any bashing, I just want to know what people think! ![]()
