What better way than to spend a rainy, cold, Sunday afternoon than with good friends and club members to celebrate our Chicago Transplant's "50 something" birthday.
Carole hadn't yet experienced the delightful homestyle cooking of Mid-Michigan's own "Middleton Diner". They are known for their Mennonite home cooking which includes a fabulous salad bar, broasted chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, biscuits, beans and mmm, mmm good homemade bread! Of course, to top it off, you have to have a piece of their homemade pie.
