Thank you Cheryl. I often get information from others (as you know) that are absolutes, which is why I wanted to ask you. I was also told if I was the alpha in the house that my dogs wouldn't have any interactions that are inappropriate so of course it is an attack on me and my abilities as the pack leader....LOL.
I felt that the answer would be that Ace is starting to realize he's not a little boy and that his big sister isn't always correct.
I appreciate that it isn't always the male or always the female that will take a higher roll in the house. I would prefer that Hope stay at a higher level than Ace and I'll support her as much as possible, but she may not want that roll as he gets older.
