After 10 years of DSO's, I've learned to take Monday off to recover, so I'll post a quick note. 
Thank you from the CCDSA family to everyone who traveled to attend our 10th Annual DSO. With gas prices, we appreciate the fact that dog handlers made the effort and expense to enter our trial. We had guests from Maine, New Hampshire, New York and Pennsylvania as well as guests from all parts of Michigan. We had two wonderful vendors, Monsterdog Equipment with leashes, tugs, jumps etc. from Rockford, Illinois and Pugsley Dog Toys which provided all sorts of plush and other toys for your favorite four-footed friend. In addition, on Saturday we had a sled-dog demonstration during our lunch break.
I believe we had 20 beginners, plus 4 obedience only. In intermediate we had 16 entries and in the sequestered, advanced event we had 7 entries. Once others have recovered, placings and some photos will be posted.
An enormous thank you to our decoy's, Josh Marshall, Nick King, Kris Finison, Pat Riley and Sheldon Little under the direction of Brad Hough. Like Cheryl ALWAYS reminds us, "without you guys, we'd only be watching obedience and be bored to tears!"
Thank you also to our judges, Carole, Deb, Paul, Glenna and special Guest Judge, Meagan Welch.
AND Thank you to our club for all their hard work in preparing, working at, putting up, tearing down. Because of all of you, we will be celebrating our 11th Dog Sports Open with the "CARNIVAL!".
We look forward to seeing you all next year!
