I know there are links to "Dog Friendly Hotel" websites on the DSO page, but I'm not familiar with the area at all. In Rochester, you can have two hotels that are 5 miles from your destination and one will take 5 minutes to get there and the other will take 30. I'm sure it's the same where you are.
What are the best hotels for reasonable travel time (not necessarily distance)? We stayed at the Sunset Motel for the past two years and would definately prefer to stay there, but he has been impossible to get ahold of.
