Belated congratulations to CCDSA members on the achievement of titles at the 2008 UKC Premier
The 3 members that entered the SDA trial received excellent scores!
Nick King with his GSD Polo received the Police Dog 1 (PD1)
Becky VanCamp with her Donovan Pinscher/Bulldog, Carver also received the PD1.
Glenna Logan with her Groenendahl, Will did an awesome job in attaining the Protection 1 (P1).
In addition, Jackie Marshall with her Dutch Shepherd, LaBelle took Best of Breed two days in a row. And JRT, Kia, left all the competition in her terrier racing dust! (I hope I didn't miss anyone! 
)
CCDSA was also asked to do a short demo on Sunday to a very large and interested crowd. Cheryl managed to bring out the fact, that we are “older” and predominantly female, but still able to train our dogs to high levels of competition. After our demo we went into the crowd with our dogs to many “Ooooo’s" and “Ahhhhh’s” while letting the dogs be petted by kids and adults alike.
At one point on Sunday, a storm was brewing, and of course the wind kicked up and collapsed the circus tent that the majority of us were sitting under. I had to have someone lift up the side, so my dogs and I could get out. (You can’t pay for distractions like that!) Fortunately, no one was injured.
As always….never a dull moment at the Premier for CCDSA!
