The entire process of Schutzhund has been lost... could you imagine getting a hard, intensely driven dog to "hang" on the arm? The intention of Schutzhund was to select good and better dogs for breeding, and those dogs are not usually the high scoring ones! French Ring is about the quality of the TRAINER (and to some degree, the dog, and of course, the training decoy) but when Schutzhund was corrupted into a "sport" instead of a breeding tool, it didn't follow the normal trend in other sports... when the athletes get better and better, you make the rules HARDER, not keep them the same, or even soften them!
