I had to say something else, but my first reaction really was Holy Crap! when I saw the picture. I know people say hit the deer, but I almost think you have to practice doing that-it's such a knee-jerk reaction (no pun intended) to swerve to not hit a living being, even if it means serious harm to oneself. Whenever I drive back from club, I purposely focus on that like a mantra, "Hit the deer, hit the deer, hit the deer" because I know too many people who have had much worse accidents swerving. But if it ran out in front of me, would I do it? I don't know. I'd probably swerve while screaming at the top of my lungs "Hit the deer!!!!!"
So GLAD you're OK. And now that your lip is intact, I'm sure all your lady friends are thrilled that the King Love Machine is back
