Hi all. As some of you may know, I'm in the middle of a contentious divorce with the man whom Winnie considered her "papa". He's been stalking me, breaking into my house, threatening my attorney, and threatening the police. I finally got a PPO this past week and things have calmed down a ton. However, as I've been going thru the trauma of my husband's abuse and also an emergency surgery I had to undergo in the midst of it all, Winnie's behavior is changing (understandably). The thing I have a question about is the fact that she's been urinating on her "couch" and my bed only. Not on the floor. Then when we go outside, she is eliminating very close to the path we walk on to the yard, whereas normally she would be going to the furthest corners of the yard to eliminate. During my convalesence from surgery, friends have been taking Winnie on walks, and I've been doing my best to stay in charge with her (even though she's challenged me a lot lately). 75
