We are back home now and finally calmed down. She did a lovely hurdle .90 clipped it at 1 meter, took 2 attempts to get her fat a@@ over the palisade at 1.7 but got it. sailed over the long jump at 3 meters and clipped the edge of the key at 3.5. overall nice job on the jumps (keep in mind it was 90 degrees, sunny and at 3pm)we were both melting. obedience was ok, I ended the muzzle early (before the horn) so I zeroed out the exercise, retreives were both good, no huge victory lap on either ![]()
bites were good, she outed just before the horn on the face attack but stayed in therre on the guard affirm. Lost points for multiple restarts, darn departure line. but I zeroed us out on the search and escort. I heard the horn and saw him motion to retart so I restared her and then he horned me out. way later after the trial he said I need obedience and to know the rules, you have 30 seconds or 3 restarts I went way over on both and he was being generous, he should have zeroed me out on all bite work exercises. off to next time....
heres a few pics of the Rue Rue in action and us in Cali with Bri, Eric and all the kids who helped at the trial. We won't be trialing at the MI trial, hopefully Cheryl will be available for training that weekend, hint, hint. Most I would do at trial is dog in white for jumps for practice. Dumb bit## stook 3 feet from me at all times so I could not grab or correct her.
