The dog must come to a position that allows the handler to attach the leash without the handler moving from their stationary position, the dog may sit or stand." You may lose a point or so for her running past you, but if she turns around and comes to you so you can get a hold of her, that is what is important. This is not judged like competition obedience where they need to "front and finish". This IS Family Obedience. If patting your leg or saying "Come here Winne" gets her to you, that is allowed as stated above. You will do fine. Just relax and have fun.

First off Kathy....I will suggest and I think Cheryl will concur, to NOT practice the recall anymore this week. Knowing Winnie she will anticipate the recall and you don't want that to happen in the trial.
