Hi all. I'm working with Winnie on our FO routine, and everything is going great except for her recall - kind of a surprise to me. But in class I'm usually against a wall or the gate, so I've not seen her do this yet. But when I've been doing the recall, she comes at me like gang busters and flies by, circles around, THEN comes back once she slows down. So my question is how to get her to approach me a little less enthusiastically so she'll actually be able to just come right up to me. I know I could have her on lead and grab that as she goes by, but she's FLYING as she runs by, so I seriously don't know if my non-Mal reflexes will be able to supercede hers and grab the lead in time. Would having a treat in my hand help? Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated by anybody with an idea.
