Posted by davidj Also, I want to thank Leo and Lisa Hinojosa, Ranger's breeder, for cheerfully refunding my purchase price for Ranger. It will help defray the costs of this expensive surgery. Ranger will very likely not be back for protection work and given the fact that I would need personal protection if I tried to buy another dog, I won't be back for quite some time... So, Ranger will canoe with me and generally continue to pester my wife. Ranger still brings me a great deal of joy- so as long as I can keep her happy and mostly pain free all should be good. It has been a long time since I've seen anyone from the club-so I thought I would give you an update on Ranger. It was confirmed earlier this week that Ranger now needs an ACL repair on her left leg. I hope to have her scheduled for surgery by early May at the latest.
