Posted by Chris Fraize Hi Cheryl, In the SDA Obedience which side of the handler is the dog heeling in the about turns? I have always been taught that the dog heels on the left hand side and in the diagram of the SDA obedience pattern the 'about turn' is to the Left putting the dog on the inside and not on the outside as has been my understanding until now. What is correct can you shed some light on this heeling pattern for me/us? Thank you,

In the SDA Obedience which side is the dog heeling in the about turns? From the Obedience Heeling Pattern Diagram the about turn the dog is on the left side. So if the dog heels on the left side then the dog on the about turn would be on the outside turning right.
