Thanks for the update Deb. Yeah, that makes perfect sense, especially the care-taking of all the animals in this weather. Crazy-cold!!! I'm finding it hard to come up with creative ways to keep Winnie exercised SAFELY. We have little red booties for her, but I never thought her face would get cold with the wicked wind we've been having. It took me a while to figure out that she wasn't sticking her face into the snow just for fun anymore - there was an obsessive purpose to what she was doing. And then I realized that she was warming her face up. So we only last about 10 minutes outside without her face getting cold. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated (besides a treadmill, which we have no room for). Are there masks for dogs that they wont rip off?
