having dmx problems i have a das light gold controller fed into a trancesion dmx splitter booster distributed to 3 dmx universes with end terminators. The first dmx universe has a martin 1200 magnum smoke machine the second has a led dj led 229 par cans x 8 all with the same adress set and the third has an equinox aries laser. the runs of cable are approx between 60 and 80 metres away from the dmx das light controller. If i try to run the universes seperate from controller to fitting they work fine if I connect all dmx universes to the splitter there is no response. At first we changed to another splitter thinking this was faulty and still the same if any one has any ideas would be grateful all connections in the xlr plugs are of good qualty soldering and continuity has been verified the cable runs are in 1.5mm sy cable due to the environment they are run in the screen of the sy cable is connected to lapp emc cable glands at one end connected to earth and the other end isolated from earth .
