I am student working on a senior design project. The project started as a solution to the problem that 5 receptical dimmers are being used in my church to control the stage lights. I'm trying to design something that will be used. In my senior design proposal I said I plan to design a 16 channel DMX stage lighting controller. I was wondering if anybody had ideas or solutions on how to convert 16 analog channels to DMX and DMX to 16 analog channels? I would prefer to use some kind of mircocontroller (like an Atmel MEGA micro).
