That is exactly what I need - all 8 bits. It would be even better if I could have them output for a number of consecutive channels - even two 8 bit channels would be a big help. One other approach is to output the 8 bits for the current channel and another 8 (or less) bits for the channel number or relative channel number - lots of options as I am quite flexible with the design at my end. For example - channel 4 has a value of 127 then output 00000100 01111111. Note that channel 4 could be the actual channel # or the channel number relative to the start address of the interface. (Not sure if this is clear or not!)
