I have purchased some LED RGB Strip lights from Chauvet. They work great but I get an un wanted flashing when I run them from some olde house boards in the RGB mode. (Using ETC Express and Colortrin Status-1991) My dimmer packs do not flash at all. I have contacted Chauvet and they say the older boards have poor DLX output as compaired to the new boards avalable today. I have installed the latest software revisions on the boards.
Question 1: Do you know of any device that can clean up and re-clock the data for use with newer devices? (DMX Splitters or Buffors?)
Question 2: Are there any new DMX encoder chip equilivlant replacements that may work better in the older boards?
