Showtec multidim -- wont dim

Wonder if anyone can help. I'm not technical at all. I'm on a local cahrity and we bought some stage lights for our pantomime. The company delivered the kit and have now shut down ! hence no tecnical support. We've connecetd all the cables up and basically the lights are on full power or nothing. Push the fader on the control board beyond 50% and the light comes on full power We have Showtec Multi dim dimmers and a Transcension SceneSetter DC1224 caontroller Many Thanks
