The companies get hurt, engineers like myself get hurt, legitimate users get hurt, since lost revenue means fewer future development dollars, and even the users buying the clones get hurt. Once the ripoff artist gets scared away or moves on, the customers are left high and dry - new versions don't work with their box, they can't get tech support, and so on... -jjf

We tried to address this problem by keeping our entry level unit as inexpensive as possible ($299 street for DMX-in, DMX-out, SMPTE-in, and SMPTE-out all in one box). But Martin and Mr. Fibaek have my complete sympathy.
