Hello Wayne & Judy,
I just thought I'd pass this info along to you in case you would be interested. We would be honored to have you and your Modified Pulling Tractor on hand to display if you are't pulling somewhere this day. I usually only get to see you at the Hillsdale County Fair. Feel free to tell some of the other pullers with tractors and trucks that they are very welcome to also bring their hotrods to the show. The more the merrier.
We now have a tenative date for the Northeastern Indiana Racing Museum's 3rd Annual Racing Expo. April 18,2009 1-5pm.
This year it will be held in the huge room at the North end of the Kruse Museum called the Kruse Hall where the Victory Bingo takes place on Sunday,Monday and Wed.'s.
This room is twice as big as the rotunda room where we've had it before. There are two very Tall & Wide overhead garage doors to bring Race cars & trucks,Street Rods, Modified pulling tractors, etc. inside.
We will have concessions and a cash bar.
We are looking for people who build race cars and sell new race car parts that would like to set up and sell your stuff.
We are looking for a rolling chassis with engine and drive train(no body) so people can see the workings of a race car. Last year we had a dirt Late Model car with the right side body missing for that purpose and it was a big hit.
We are also looking for people who would want to set up and display old racing photo's and such. We will supply the tables and chairs.
We are looking into getting a couple of celebrity race car drivers to speak. If you know someone and can help us get them please contact me .
We are planning on letting people bring in cars on Thursday,Friday(All day), and Saturday morning. I will add the hours for each day as soon as I have them.
