Kingsville,tx. Hello raza como estan today? Well I am sure by now that stimulus check cashed and gone. But did you have a good time man? But talking off budgets, that’s what our award winning barrio headline news is all about, so lets get to it:
Budget for el barrio reduced.
Barrio accepting nominations for this years 2008 barrio resident of the year.
And finally barrio resident complaint about high prices rally.
This weekend will mark the third weekend in a roll que esto barrio or shall we say some barrio residents have been rallying at the local barrio community center and protesting the high cost of everything. Si says one of this folks leaders is que we don’t want to pay more than what we have too on any dang thing we want, or need, so someone better pay attention cause we are not going to take it any more. Ok than.
In other news,The barrio residents committee is accepting nominations for 2008 barrio resident of the year. Barrio nominees must be caring, diligent volunteers who tirelessly work to improve their front and back yards. In addition, they have to demonstrate that they have shared their heartily own special talents and energy in the hood and not with next door wives or husbands. These special people give generously and unselfishly of their time, shares their food stamps, ability, and have made several busted in the hood, but for sure have made a profound differences in the lives of my others and those few crack heads by volunteering through long stake out hours and smelly sweat that equity rather than financial capital. Dang who could it be this year?
While the bottom line was to increase this coming fiscal year budget, barrio leaders decided to reduce the recommended budget increase for the fiscal year instead, says a barrio elected leader. Our main concern at this moment is the increase and extra payments needed to be made to our barrio rainy day fund and pay down the pension debt, by removing it from this coming fiscal increase. So if your street or street light, or trash don’t get picked up, you know why,.
Ok raza there you have it count down towards tejano roots, this could be our year.
