Kingsville,tx. Once again I am bill diaz con todays award winning barrio headline news:
Barrio members try to rob barrio bank.
Vato arrested for indecent exposure and ass kicked.
And finally, older sister arrested for stealing.
If things weren’t bad enough, la nina maria garica garcia was arrested late last night when workers at the barrio only nursing-home” la last casa de paz” reported que la nina, was there visiting her dying older sister in her final moments. La nina was charged con stealing the wedding ring, her birth stone ring, her 1966 timex watch, y her lone star card. All this happen when she was left alone con the ill sister. Charges will be file.
In other news, I quess you could say it wasn’t his day, that’s what happen to pancho pistols when he came to a stop sign at the corner of third and wells. Yesterday afternoon two vatos from our side of the tracks try to do a daytime robbery and almost got away with it. But there was a small detail that caught them . It seems que la commadre the mother of one of the accused was at the bank an noticed the robbery going on and also noticed que one of the robbers was wearing something similar,like a pair of nikkie tennis shoes she had just bought at la pluga. Once she called out his name he turned around to see who it was, that’s when one of the bank clerks knocked him out con her purse. Both men were arrested and taken to jail. La commadre wanted to know if there was going to be an award for her great effort. Once asked what she was going to do if they did give her a reward, she said she was going to pay for her sons bond.
Ok raza there we have it, the only count down source towards this years tejano roots and this could be our year.
