I mean by having the extra communication they had it let them know what was going on and what they could do and possibly helped the rear driver out because of the limited visibility they had. Like not being able to see what was going on in front of the lead driver. But maybe that was still all the spotters responsibility. I just don't see how limiting communication will stop tandum driving. That deal was caused by car set ups etc. Guess NASCAR must know what they are doing though...cause they ALWAYS know what they are doing...right?
