Yes, that's right 2004, I was at that race. It broke my heart to see his car limp around turn 4 into the pits. Dale is too nice/PC to blame another driver. I've never really had any warm and fuzzy's for the 99 since that day. Dale called him Howdy Dudy on the radio years ago, and that's the nick name that stuck among our family/friends :-) Still very happy for Tony, what a driver! |
