An M sprite in a sector over rides a sectors LOtag default sound.
RR 447 fork lift, check the RR map SAWMILL,
Lumber Mill, er something like that.
It's got a fork lift, it's probably a standard truck/moving sector, then has an M sprite in/on it.
SoundHotel.map plays the sounds of the game it's being run in, RR or RA.
Since the fork lift is RR only,
you won't get that sound from SoundHotel.map in RA
(SoundHotel is generic, er plays in both RR & RA)
(All sounds can't be played via SoundHotel switches either.)
There should have been a text file that came with SoundHotel sndsRRRA.txt er something like that.
Do a string search for what sound ya want.

Check USER.CON fer the sound numbers associated with the .VOC file names
to learn which .VOC file to extract from REDNECK.GRP fer which sound.
A RR sound can be played in RA by the .VOC being renamed in the current RA directory like you all said.
Since the game engine searches the current directory for .CON include files before it searches REDNECK.GRP
