Ebay

I can't remember if I ever bought anything on Ebay. If I did, it had to be a decade or more ago. But I saw a young Robert Blake on an old re-run of Tattle Tales, and I was curious about his wife who was on the show. Wikipedia said she was his first wife who he'd been married to for over 20 years. I think there was a short second marriage, and then there was the disastrous marriage to the woman, the mother of his youngest child, who he was accused of murdering or having murdered. What I read about her and that marriage made me want to read his self-published book. I couldn't find it in any of the public libraries, but it could be bought from private bookstores and Amazon. I also found a used copy on Ebay, and bought it at a lesser cost. It's the story of his beginnings, his life as a child and adult Hollywood star, his fall and disappearance due to a tragic liaison and the accusation of murder. So this was my first experience buying something on Ebay. And it got me curious to see what else was on that site. I started with Mexican jewelry and found a marvelous pendant for a ridiculously low price. I am now in a bidding war and have had to raise my bid three times. I am determined to buy that pendant. I hope I won't be disappointed, I'm not totally sure how big it is, and it's second hand, and I hope it won't look shabby in person. I'm glad, tho, that I have an interest in something, I was becoming so, so depleted.
