Valley Marketplace is not nearby, and it's full of foreigners who I'm sure don't respect social distancing. The aisles are narrow, and the place is always crowded, and I determined to avoid going there months ago. So although I appreciate their customer concern, I will stay at home for another while and let the kids go local.
Ralphs, owned by Kroger, wrote me an email about a delivery pass. Unlimited delivery for a year with a $35 order or more for $80. It's a brand new idea, they are still working out the bugs, if it doesn't fly they will prorate a refund. It sounds good to me as long as I can get what I want. If I order what they don't have to send, it will foul up the whole thing. Life has become so complicated. And scary on every score.
