Re: Going out. - Carol
Mike doesn't get angry, he's just very persistent. "Where ya goin', Ma? When ya comin' back? Will ya watch TV with me? It's very lonely layin' here." And of course, when he's able to get up and function, he'll go outside and putter around with his truck, listen to Jimi Hendrix on his Kindle (or whatever it is), play the guitar, or cook, one of his hobbies. But his downtime is far greater than his ability to move. Parkinsons is a very strange disease. Often he is totally immobile, almost catatonic. Cannot swallow. We spoon feed the meds, sometimes have to use a baby syringe. Then when the meds take effect, he's back moving and talking again. But no, he doesn't get angry, he's not an angry person. Just persistent. Just "Ma, Ma, Ma."
