The lure of a buffet, aside from the all you can eat syndrome is the cornucopia of choices. In a favorite one, you might find something they serve that you really like and can get your fill of. My experience in more times than not, disappointment. Financially, the incentive from that aspect, is not that inexpensive anymore. Usually, when eating out, we'll often be with another couple. What we do now, particularly in Chinese, Indian or Thai food, is each person picks an entrée of their choice which is agreeable to all and share. That way, you get to sample different things you might not order on your own. So far, there have been only a few things that don't measure up. If you go to the same place again, you know what to avoid or order again.
