My town and the town above it have the most cases by far in Suffolk County. NYC seems to be leveling off for the last couple of days or at least in the last reports I've seen. My daughter's hospital is not in Suffolk County but in Nassau County and gets patients from Queens and other area within city limits. Yesterday, when my daughter and her peers showed up for their tour, there was a lineup of firemen in gear and citizens with posters as a sort of appreciation salute to greet them. With a few exceptions, I've been pretty much in self-isolation or adhering to the six-foot space since mid-Feb. Even with that, I'm still nervous.
