The Muslim issue is a tough one because they're not all radicals and who can tell them apart. They have no brand on their foreheads. Those in TN just wanted to be left in peace. I see nothing wrong with a non-radical Imam giving a prayer, or a Rabbi or a priest. All are men of the cloth. Why treat the Imam any different?
Christians are being radical when they FORCE their beliefs and views on other people. I don't see how you can call them pro-life when thousands of kids in TN were recently thrown off their health Ins. TN is a red state. The neediest poorest kids.
And did you know the Rep/Con radicals are now forcing even girls as young as 11 years old who were RAPED either by a relative or stranger to suffer the nightmare of reliving the rape for 9 months? How can you call that pro-life? That's as cruel as anyone can get. Think of the damage to the girls mind!!! Even if giving birth ruins her reproductive organs not mature enough to handle a birth she will have to have the spawn of the rapist to please the Christian Taliban. And no, the radical christian Reps/Cons don't care if it's rape or incest. If the fetus is defective from inbreeding or not. Or what damage physically or mentally it does to the woman or girl.
Another thing that I find odd about your thinking is constantly accusing women of having an abortion on a whim. Where do you get this from? Anti-choice literature? It's as if they they pass a new beauty shop and pop in for a styling on-a-whim. The women I knew did not abort "on a whim." I find that very insulting considering the soul searching they did before making such a decision. The emotional turmoil they went through. If your friends just had their abortions "on a whim" they had to be some strange cold-blooded women.
Since no tax-payer money pays for abortions by law who cares if most of PPs income comes from abortions? Only a radical would stress over something like that. And I have yet to see proof that PP's main income is abortions. They provide other services the Christian Taliban never mentions. ACA doesn't tax you to cover abortions.
As for the Buddhists Muslims and the Jewish communities, I have yet to see those other religions out there trying and force their beliefs on others. To blow up clinics and shoot Drs.
Christian radicals who want to control women and their sexual and reproductive lives should move to Iran or Saudi Arabia.
You have yet to show any compassion for someone who finds herself with an unplanned unwanted pregnancy, in total turmoil, an emotional wreck no matter how it happened... I can only imagine what an anti-choice person would say to her.
Christian radicals are every bit as dangerous as any radical group. What next, they outlaw birth control and sex before marriage? Force even women who would die giving birth to die, or who are on the verge of suicide calling it God's will to kill themselves? Where would it end?
Some people can see the danger in other groups of people they don't belong to. They cannot see the dangers in the group they do belong to.
