Re: This is where we are today... Elle
I don't depend on people like Lynch and Morris to help me form my opinions. What can I say that's possibly good and positive about Capitalists who always put profit/business before the environment and the welfare of the people. Dirty energy is one example. Did you know the spent rods from nuclear power plants are deadly for thousands of years? Google: "When the uranium fuel is used up, usually after about 18 months, the spent rods are generally moved to deep pools of circulating water to cool down for about 10 years, though they remain dangerously radioactive for about 10,000 years." As you can see my concern isn't only for NOW. You and I will be gone one day but the earth and the people go on. Don't you think they deserve a decent place to live as free of toxic waste and pollution as possible?
The priorities of most Dems/Libs are for the good of the country, the people and the environment - not the party or making a profit at all cost like we see in the Rep/Con party.
The view you provide of the other side has nothing to do with improving the lives of the average person. And even less to do with protecting the air we breathe or the water we drink. What of health Ins? People are still going bankrupt thanks to not be able to afford Ins. Where are the good jobs that pay living wages Trump promised us and now never mentions? Nothing positive there...
I would love it if you posted some positive things being done by the Reps.
