My husband was a driver for a commercial laundry that provided uniforms and laundry service for different businesses. A good many of their clients were service stations and places with heavily soiled garments. A very small company employing maybe 20 or so people at most. OSHA and EPA regulations caused the owner to do a major equipment replacement or upgrade for compliance, costing thousands upon thousands of dollars. A few years later, there were new or additional requirements. The owner couldn't afford to do them so he had to close the facility and all of his employees were now out of work, including my husband who had worked for him for almost 30 years. I can't tell you whether the new requirements were actually necessary or frosting on the cake. The same goes for many of the resolutions that this administration rescinded, they were mostly new and not yet implemented.
