Re: Excited - Carol
Bowling certainly was never a main interest of mine either but it was competitive sport with other people that I was decent in. Younger, I biked (the pedal kind) for long distances, roller and ice skated, swam. I didn't travel much for pleasure because my job had me in planes almost every week. I deep sea fished on my dad's boats. I loved horseback riding. Every piece of my furniture was searched out in flea markets at one time, I was out dancing almost every weekend. As I aged, some of those things were not as appealing as they had been but bowling was something I could still do well even at 80. I wasn't into the crafting things that many women enjoy so my leisure time went into computer graphics, eventually doing well enough to become a featured artist on AOL. From there it was photography..an interest that took me every weekend to whatever events that were being held on the Island and often to more than one. Bowling was just another one of my interests I was able to continue and doing well in competitive league bowling brings in money.
