I don't agree they want nothing more than the rest of us. I don't know where you live, but I'll wager that our diversity here is far greater than wherever it is you are and I have dealt with them more than you. I was in the President's Office of a large, public college, and worked with all the students as well as faculty. There isn't enough space here to recount interactions with Muslim students, but let's just say they are a difficult population. They have an expanded sense of entitlement, are arrogant rather than gracious, and believe they are being discriminated against for their religion when indeed they are just being called to answer for their ordinary civic misbehavior. Nor do I think they view their wives(s) and families as we do. The family structure and culture is far different.
In view of her attitudes, associates, and remarks I don't believe she should have a place on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
