And a pretty day it is here in NE Flarrider! - A bit overcast, but no rain forecast, a substantial sea breeze (this early in the day!!), and highs in the upper 70s. We're expecting some rain from whatever may be left of Ida later in the week, but we haven't been rained on for so long that it will be welcome ... and even that isn't supposed to be very much.
Good news from Da Elder Son yesterday (he wasn't happy, but it was wonderful news as far as I'm concerned) - his orders have been changed, and rather than heading for that place next to Pakistan where there are lots of rocks and terrorists but not much else, he will instead be going to one of the tiny Arab Emirates where all is peaceful and they love Americans. He'd rather be more in the thick of things. Me? I'm thrilled.
