It is lovely and we don't live far from Sanibel and Captiva.
Good bike riding as well throughout the islands, with lots of bike rental places. Bike paths throughout the islands. A nice place to ride through by car or bike is Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. We've done it by car and bike.
