It's overcast and humid, but that's to be expected here so it's no big deal. This is the weekend that the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" is held here - also known as the Florida-Georgia game. We don't go to the game any more - it's much nicer, to say nothing of quieter, to stay home and watch it in HD in our own den.
Busy day today - after work we're going to a "Cocktails for a Cause" cocktail party - a fundraising event for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I can't think of a better excuse for getting all dressed up. And after that, since we'll be gussied up and out already, we decided to go to dinner - just make a really nice evening of it.
We'll be keeping the porch light off and the door closed tomorrow evening - so many churches and civic groups are having Hallowe'en celebrations as an alternative to having kids go door-to-door that trick-or-treating as we knew it is almost a thing of the past in most neighborhoods.
Have a happy.
