That's kind of the way it worked out with my 2 Kiddos - Da Elder Son is much fairer than his brother - blondish hair and hazel-y green eyes - takes after me, although my eyes are blue. Da Younger Son inherited his father's coloring, and is olive complected, and has very dark brown eyes and black hair. For all we know, this baby could look Chinese and have blue eyes - THAT would be an exotic mix! And Nonna will be thrilled no matter what.
