I did the same thing - even put one in the little sewing kit I keep in my desk drawer here at the office ... I never know when Da Spouse is going to pop a button!
I cannot be without them - there is not a needle made that has a big enough eye. (It's not my vision, of course - it's the @#$%^&* needle manufacturers who are steadily shrinking the eyes.
I'm honestly thinking of attaching one to my key fob.
