He helped to pass a lot of legislation which has helped us and our children: Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, equal funding for women's athletics come to mind, but there are more. He also was able to bring both sides together for compromises (bipartisanship in today's lingo). However, when someone famous dies the news gets over saturated with coverage on the person. It's not just MA. Term limits haven't helped in California. Nancy
