I already have a hole in the muffs, in fact three of them from trying to re-site them. (Two underneath now and one on top) The wing mirror goes through the hole. I've had these type of muffs before usually with no problem. Make a hole, thread the wing mirror shaft through then tighten it all up but it's not quite working this time, it keeps sagging down across the switch.
