I cycled to work on Monday and on Tuesday I took the day off and bought the first C90 I looked at for £350. It had 50K on it and eventually the frame snapped. I bought another one on ebay for £250 - it said 8K but when I picked it up I think that only actually referred to the speedo. Anyway that's what I'm on now - there's a photo of it under the front wheel of an 18 wheeler Daf on this site somewhere. Aren't many Londoners on your list I notice (although someone said something about Crouch End). I'm in NW3. I have a R1100 GS now so the C90 often goes away for long periods. As you can see I worked my way down the CC table and now ride a 2001 C90 after owning various other C90's and 50's through the years, a couple of them bought new. Dave, 48, from South Lincolnshire. Then onto; Suzuki GT185 (good reliable bike), Yamaha RD350 aircooled (cracking bike, what a flyer - wish I'd kept it), Suzuki GT380 (horrible handling especially with top box, but reliable), CZ 175, (supprisingly good and reliable), BMW R100S, (had this bike for over 10 years/100,000 miles. It was part of me in my twenties and early thirties, a lovely bike), MZ 250 with sidecar (great fun), Armstrong 500 (hmm, gotta be a squaddie to appreciate these), BMW R80RT (thrashed it to the south of France in 2001, two up with camping gear and it never complained. Didn't like the high screen, and no charisma unlike the 100S) Have now got two Hondas. One is a 1982 CX 500 which is presently a home for spiders and needs commissioning for the road, and the only one on the road is the trusty 1998 Cub 90 with a rattly engine (camchain/tensioner?)
